LEO SCHEIDT'S MASTER PROJECT

Schlag auf! is the master's project of Leo Scheidt, student of art mediation at HBKsaar.

A collection of books and an experimental table tennis table encourage independent knowledge acquisition and exchange. Every two weeks, the game is reinvented in the "table tennis meet-up": New rules and forms of the game are tested out. This always results in new forms of knowledge exchange. The writable board of the table tennis serves as a discussion and exchange surface: questions, quotes and suggestions from the books are collected here for the game.

Tischtennistreff

The event is already over

in the framework of Schlag auf!

Every fortnight on Wednesdays at 6 pm, the open, experimental "Tischtennistreff" takes place in the Stadtgalerie. Here, new forms of play are developed together in connection with learning and knowledge exchange.

The events are part of the master project "Schlag auf!" by Leo Scheidt. No registration is required.

How can we learn and unlearn together as a community? The project "Schlag auf!" explores new forms of mediation and exchange about art and its contexts. Parallel to the current exhibitions, a space will be opened in the event room of the Stadtgalerie, which, like the exhibitions, invites visitors to stay longer and exchange knowledge.

The Stadtgalerie makes Saarbrücken diverse - hand in hand with artists, cultural workers and participants of different degrees of professionalization. This time we integrate the master project Schlag auf! by museum education student Leo Scheidt.

Disclaimer: Photos and films will be taken at this event. If you do not agree to this, please let us know at the beginning of the event!
