DER EINE RAUM: Warte kurz...

In Warte kurz..., this time we’re showcasing the interactive work Hold Your Thoughts by Eric Schwarz from the municipal art collection.

It can push you to the brink of madness or bring you a sense of soothing balance. Holding onto your thoughts, simply being without doing anything else, focusing on a single thing – isn’t that becoming increasingly difficult for all of us?

Drawing on his exploration of meditation and mindfulness, Eric Schwarz has developed a game: his first Art Toy, Hold Your Thoughts, is a sculpture, a toy and a meditation aid all in one.

In DER EINE RAUM, there are no handouts and no printed text, but there is a tablet on which you’ll find lots of information in the form of audio files.

We also want to make the exhibition as immersive as possible for people who are blind or partially sighted.

Outside the door, at the entrance to DER EINE RAUM, there is a button marked with the symbol for audio description. If you press this button, a voice will describe the room to you and help you find your way around if you have poor vision or are completely blind.

Incidentally, due to the interactive sculpture, we have decided not to include an additional tactile model this time.
