They know their city, the artistic scene and current developments and trends - the curators of the cities of Luxembourg, Metz, Saarbrücken and Trier. As experts, they are located in the respective city. They each select four artists as representatives of the art scene.

Célia Charvet for Metz

Célia Charvet is an author with a multi-faceted approach to writing - art, philosophy and literature. With a PhD in philosophy, she worked for Le 19, Centre régional d'art contemporain in Montbéliard from 2000 to 2006 in the field of exhibitions and publications, including four years as deputy director, while teaching at various universities, art and architecture schools in parallel. She has curated numerous exhibitions and has published texts on art with French and foreign publishers. Since 2011, she has been teaching writing and curating at the Ecole Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine, in Metz.

Julie Reuter for Luxembourg

Julie Reuter (*1987 in Luxembourg) studied art history, archaeology and fine arts as well as art market and international negotiations. After seven years in Paris, she first worked in Luxembourg organising exhibitions and art fairs at Gallery Nosbaum Reding. In 2015/2016, she participated in the organisation of the first Luxembourg Art Week. In 2019, she became coordinator of the association "stater muséeën" with 7 museums in the city area, for which she organised projects and events, including the Luxembourg Museum Days as well as the Night of the Museums. Today, Julie works as deputy curator and digital development officer for the 2 museums of the City of Luxembourg.

Katharina Ritter (*1982) is artistic director of the Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken. In 2020 she was interim director of the Stadtgalerie, from 2019 to 2020 artistic director of the Künstlerhäuser Worpswede e.V., from 2017 to 2019 exhibition director of the Kunstverein Ulm. Since 2013 she has been a lecturer at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar. In addition, she is a founding member and chairperson (until 2015) of the Neuer Saarbrücker Kunstverein.

Simon Santschi for Trier

Simon Santschi (*1977 in Langenthal/Switzerland) studied visual design at the Zurich School of Design and sculpting at the Gerriet Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. He was project coordinator at the Burg Giebichenstein Art School in Halle and Head of Continuing Education for Design & Art at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts as well as Headmaster of the Aargau School of Design (Aarau/Switzerland). Since 2020 he has been director of the European Academy of Art in Trier, curator of the Kunsthalle Trier as well as a member of the board of the Tufa Tuchfabrik Trier.
