Dyffort & Driesch

Roswitha von den Driesch (born in Saarburg in 1964) studied at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin from 1992 to 1999 and was a master student of Prof. Inge Mahn. Jens-Uwe Dyffort (born 1967 in Erfurt) studied composition at the Universität der Künste Berlin from 1990 to 1995 and was a master student of Prof. Walter Zimmermann from 1995 to 1998. They collaborate and create joint projects since 1996. They have received numerous grants, in 2012 they were awarded the Experimental Film Prize Ruhr and in 2006 the German Sound Art Prize. Roswitha von den Driesch and Jens-Uwe Dyffort live in Berlin.

Jonas Maas

Jonas Maas (born in Trier in 1985) studied at the Kunsthochschule Mainz in the class of Prof. Winfried Virnich from 2006 to 2010 and at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in the class of Prof. Tomma Abts from 2010 to 2014. From 2009 he was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation, in 2016 he received a scholarship from the Lepsien Art Foundation, Düsseldorf and in 2018 a residency scholarship from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia at Schloss Ringenberg, Hamminkeln. Jonas Maas lives and works in Düsseldorf.

 

Paula Müller

Paula Müller (born in Trier in 1977) studied at the Kunstakademie Münster from 2002 to 2007 in the class of Ulrich Erben and Daniele Buetti and was a master student of Daniele Buetti in 2007. She completed a DAAD scholarship at the ESBA Geneva (Switzerland) In 2005  and a scholarship from the Kunststiftung NRW in New York in 2008. In 2009 she received the GWK-Förderpreis, in 2010 the GEGRAVE scholarship and in 2012 the FMAC-Förderung, Geneva. Since 2013 she has been teaching "Visual Field Research" in art education at different museums. Paula Mueller lives and works in Berlin.

Maria Steinmann

Maria Steinmann (born in Morscheid near Trier in 1953) studied interior design at Fachhochschule Trier from 1973 to 1979. From 1975 to 1977 she received a DAAD scholarship to Glasgow, London and Swindon. Since 1981 she has worked as a freelance interior designer and artist. In 2007 she won the Prix de Raville, Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg. She lives and works in Trier.
