Florian Huth
Florian Huth (*1980 in Saarbrücken) investigates artistic ability and success. For his diploma, he copied selected works by artists who were ranked ahead of him in the Artfacts ranking. The templates for this came from the Internet. He photographed his handcrafted reproductions and published them again online. In more recent works, Florian Huth expands or changes the approaches of various artists. With a look at the interaction of original work and mechanisms of display, new works are created. In his most recent work he tries to copy the "ART of the 20th century", in 840 drawings.
